Mercy Medical Transportation, Inc. has been providing Advanced Life Support, 9-1-1 services to suburban, rural, and wilderness communities in California since 1994.

Exclusive Provider

Mercy is the exclusive contracted provider of ALS, 9-1-1 ambulance services for the Unified Service Area in San Diego County and the entirety of Mariposa County

Honor of Serving

Mercy has the honor of serving several Indian Reservations in San Diego County and contracts directly for services with the Pala Band of Mission Indians and Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians.

Mercy has a proven history of quality service in paramedic response systems, a reputation of having excellent working relationships with Fire Departments, and a record of employing the most qualified and compassionate EMTs and Paramedics in the industry.

Our service areas

San Diego Unified Service Area

The San Diego County Unified Service Area encompasses 2,660 square miles and includes the most Eastern regions of the County. Jurisdictions include: Valley Center, Deer Springs, Palomar Mountain, Warner Springs, Julian, Ocotillo Wells, Otay Mesa Detention Facilities, Crest, Jamul, Alpine, Pine Valley, Campo, Potrero and Boulevard.

Mariposa Service Area

The Mariposa Service Area encompasses over 1,500 square miles and jurisdictions served include: Mariposa, Bootjack, Bear Valley, Buck Meadows, Catheys Valley, Coulterville, El Portal, Greeley Hill, Hornitos, Lake Don Pedro, Midpines, Ponderosa Basin and Yosemite Valley.
